The Liverpool Muslim Society (LMS) is seeking to recruit an inspirational COO to run the operational planning for the Liverpool Muslim Society and lead an executive team to bring our vision to reality.
We are looking for a ‘Doer’ who believes in Excellence as a benchmark to work quality. The role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a vital position to the charity’s growth and stability. The COO will be responsible for LMS’s annual operational planning, ensuring its implementation with excellence. The COO is a key member of the LMS senior management team, reporting to the Chair of the Board of Trustees. This role will be LMS’s second-in-command and be responsible for the financial well-being of the charity, fundraising strategy, and day-to-day operational excellence across the charity. With a team including Financial Committee, Educational Committee, Property Committee, IT and HR, the role requires an experienced and effective leader, with outstanding people management ability, able to lead across both operational and strategic spheres. The overarching purpose of the COO position is to work with the Board of Trustees on defining the financial and operational strategy of LMS, and then to implement it, thereby enabling the charity to deliver its charitable aims and objectives.
