Eid al-Adha in Sefton Park

As the crescent moon ushers in the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Adha, the Liverpool Muslim community is ready to unite in joy, prayer, and festivity. We’re excited to announce that the celebration this year is set against the scenic backdrop of Sefton Park.

The Takbir, a heartwarming recital that precedes the prayer, will commence at 8:30am, providing a beautiful start to a day of communal worship and celebration. Following the Takbir, we will observe the Eid prayer at 9am sharp. It is a shared experience that binds us all together, magnifying the joyous spirit of Eid.

But the celebration does not stop there. The echoes of ‘Eid Mubarak’ will resonate throughout Sefton Park, as the funfair swings open its gates at 11am. The festive event has been designed to provide an engaging and entertaining experience for all. Children and adults alike can enjoy a range of activities and attractions, adding an element of fun and excitement to this day of religious significance.

So let’s come together this Eid al-Adha at Sefton Park, as we share, care, and rejoice in the spirit of this blessed occasion. Here’s to a day filled with faith, love, and a whole lot of fun. We look forward to welcoming you!
